What’s your relationship like with Target? Personally, we hang out at least once a week. Usually it’s for 2-3 hours. It has everything! Food, clothes, office supplies, beauty supplies – what more do you need? It’s gotten to the point that when I tell Harry I’m going to Target, there an understanding. He knows I’ll be gone for a while. And I’ll come home with more than I set out to buy (I’m pretty sure most women do this). Since I go there so often, I figured I’d put a list together of my 10 favorite Target beauty products from.
1. Sonia Kashuk Hairbrush
This Sonia Kashuk hairbrush is awesome. It’s smaller than many full-size brushes and is easy to hold. It has both plastic and boar bristles. Plastic ones are great for tangles. Boar bristles help decrease the amount of oil at the scalp. The oil gets spread out evenly around hair, so hair looks less greasy. WINNING.
Using for 10 months.
2. Pixi Glow Tonic
My friend Nina recommended the Pixi Glow Tonic toner when I ran out of my usual one. I’ve used it ever sense. The toner contains 5% glycolic acid, which helps remove dry skin and prevent wrinkles. There’s no alcohol included (PS – alcohol dries out skin). The toner has a light fragrance, but it smells good!
Using for 5 months.
3. Earth Therapeutics Spa Socks
I may paint my fingernails all the time, but my feet look like shit. These spa socks are infused with aloe to make feet feel smoother, softer, and look….well better. I put these on a couple times a week while I sleep. Pro tip: add extra lotion to yours to have even better-looking feet!
Using for 2 months.
4. J.R. Watkins Body Oil Mist
I didn’t know that body oil was a thing until about a year ago. Wouldn’t oil block pores, make skin greasy, etc? No. It’s not cooking oil, Becca. J.R. Watkins body oil is light and dries on skin quickly. There’s no nasty residue. The coconut and lavender ones smell amazing.
Using for ~ 1 year.
5. Raw Body Wash in Lemon
Good lord. This body wash smells incredible in the shower. Kind of like a lemon bar, but better. I never cared about body wash until I found this one. Now I repeatedly get this. Maybe i’ll try another flavor. Maybe not.
Using for 3 months.
6. Zoella Solid Perfume
This solid perfume is my favorite Target beauty find ever!! First, solid perfumes are amazing because they travel well. Second, this one smells like a pricey perfume that you’d spend some serious $$$ on. I have 1 for home, 1 for work, and 1 in the car.
Using for 5 months.
7. Burt’s Bees Lip Oil
Does anyone else frequently buy lip things? Just me? LIES. I grabbed this lip oil in “Crimson Breeze” and I’m obsessed! The oil isn’t thick or sticky. It gives lips a hint of color without overdoing it. It also comes in other shades.
Using for 1 month.
8. Aura Cacia Essential Oil
I know nothing about essential oils. However, I DO know that the Sweet Orange and lemon oils from Aura Cacia smell like heaven. I use it when I’m working from home or working on the blog in my office. Target carries a huge variety of scents. No shipping/handling required 😉
Using for 4 months.
9. Alba Hawaiian Oil-free Moisturizer
I use this lotion every morning! It wears well under makeup and absorbs into the skin quickly (a “must” when you’re getting ready in a hurry). If I had to describe the scent, I would say it’s like rubbing pineapples all over your face.
Using for 2 months.
10. Dr Teal’s Foaming Bath (aka adult bubble bath)
If you follow me on Insta, then you know I take multiple baths each week. I ALWAYS use Dr. Teals Foaming Bath in Eucalyptus & Spearmint. It smells like a spa, but way cheaper. I pair it with the eucalyptus & spearmint bath salts and soak for 2 hours. Who cares if my feet look like raisins?!
Using for 8 months.
I think it may be time for another bath! What are your favorite Target beauty products? I’m always looking for more recs!
